The daily money tug-of-war.
What foreign and domestic institutions did in the market — net bought or net sold. The exchange's provisional cash figures and NSDL's confirmed depository flows, side by side. Not investment advice.
FIIs net bought ₹755 cr; DIIs net bought ₹1,664 cr — provisional cash figures for 28 Jul.
FPIs net sold ₹1,341 cr of equities and net bought ₹1,402 cr of debt — NSDL's confirmed depository figures for 28 Jul. The equity figure is the broader, confirmed measure of the same foreign flow as the provisional cash number above — not an additional outflow — and it also counts primary-market and off-exchange deals the cash figure doesn't, so the two can differ.
Provisional cash figures are the exchange's same-day estimate (NSE); the confirmed depository numbers are NSDL's and land a session later — so the two blocks above are often different trading days (see each date). They can also differ because NSDL counts primary-market and off-exchange deals the cash tally misses. A dash means a figure isn't published yet — never a guess. A flow trend over more sessions is coming as the history builds. Not investment advice.
